View ProductsBAU/Hopkins was formed in the fall of 1988 by the merger of two single-man Technical Manufacturers Representative companies. In order for the new company to maintain familiarity to our existing customer base, the new name was formed from a combination of existing names. Each principal brought along all their currently represented product lines to the new combined operation. The company has grown over the past 30 years to become known as a premiere Multi-Man Manufacturer’s Technical Representative servicing the Municipal Water Treatment Markets in New England.
“As Manager-Chief Operator of the Meriden WPCF since 2009 I have to say that our purchase of UGSI/Fluid Dynamics Polyblend units has to be one of the largest cost savings products we have ever purchased when dealing with chemical delivery. Our old batch style system was always prone to over dosing of polymer when making up a batch. I started to notice that after a few months of running the Polyblend units, we went from ordering bulk polymer every three weeks to every five weeks. For us, that calculates out to almost $18,000 a year savings! Not to mention the better performance we now get on our Belt Filter Presses and Gravity Belt Dewatering systems! All seven of our units have been installed and running since 2009 and each unit looks and runs as good as the day they were installed!”
- Frank Russo, Manager / Chief Operator, WPCF
